Hi, I’m Damon!

Creativity has always been at the heart of what I do. I earned my B.S. in Digital Media with an Art Emphasis and a minor in Music Performance, which gave me the chance to explore two passions that have shaped my career: design and music.

​

From 2010 to 2020, I lived and breathed music. As a pianist, I taught lessons to both individuals and groups, performed , and ventured into music production. Producing music opened up exciting doors: I licensed tracks for sync, including one picked up by a luxury brand. At the same time, I launched an illustration business, creating music posters and growing a freelance client base that extended nationally. Looking back, those years taught me not just how to balance multiple creative pursuits, but also how to build lasting relationships and turn artistry into a livelihood.

When the pandemic shifted the world in 2020, I transitioned out of music and into freelance marketing, tackling projects that challenged me to see creativity from a new angle. One highlight was rebranding a wholesale lingerie company, an experience that showed me how thoughtful storytelling and design could transform a brand’s identity. 

​

In 2022, I stepped into a new chapter as Marketing Coordinator for an industrial camera lens manufacturer with a niche in precision optics for robotics. In this role, I’ve had the chance to develop and grow expertise in email marketing, SEO, social media, and PPC campaigns. What excites me most is not just the strategy behind these efforts, but seeing measurable growth and knowing the work makes an impact.

Outside of work, I like to keep life full of movement, creativity, and connection. I love exploring the Oregon Coast, enjoy nights out dancing with friends, or riding my bike along the Springwater Corridor near my home in SE Portland. And of course, music remains integral to my life, I can’t resist sitting down at the piano whenever I feel inspired.
